Amy Lapsevska

– Corporate Commercial Solicitor

I am a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial department specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, corporate governance matters and incorporation of new corporate vehicles including charities. I also cover commercial agreements including shareholder agreements, investment agreements, partnership agreements, terms and conditions, compliance with GDPR, the grant of share options to key employees (EMI scheme) and set up of venture capital schemes under HMRC’s enterprise investment schemes (EIS) and seed enterprise investment schemes (SEIS).

Prior to joining Clarke and Son, I spent five years working in Gibraltar for high net worth individuals and their multi-jurisdictional businesses with a focus on corporate restructuring for tax efficiency purposes. I returned to the UK in 2016 to work at a large national law firm in Southampton for start-ups and small and medium business clients.

I strive to ensure that clients’ expectations are achieved in all that I do by providing regular updates on each matter and putting integrity at the centre of my approach to client care.

Outside of the office, I enjoy playing the piano and I swim regularly to keep fit. I am passionate about the environment and I participate in a local community group in Basingstoke to raise awareness of climate change issues. I speak Spanish and often return to Spain to enjoy tapas in the sunshine!
