– If your property is on the market for a long time, it can be frustrating. However, this article gives some pointers as to why it may be a good idea to hold fire on selling your property if major construction projects are happening outside the front door.

Selling your house at a particular time of year can help coax potential buyers into a quick sale, but there are also factors you need to consider which might leave your property on the market longer than expected.

When you’re thinking about when’s best to sell your house you should also consider what’s going on at the time outside. 

There are a number things which could sabotage your home’s sale, that you might never have before considered. 

Expert property advice site, TheAdvisory.co.uk, says when selling your house, you should be aware of any major works that your local council may have granted planning permission for. 

This can include new roads, major construction projects, a block of flats about to be built next door or a planned mobile phone mast that may ruin the view from your kitchen.
