Is Your House in Order?

Well, it is back to work after a joyful Christmas and, this year, for the first time in a while, I have made some New Year’s resolutions.  One of them is to update my Will, as the Guardianship clause is out of date, and the other is to make sure that the whole family has Lasting Powers of Attorney duly drafted and up-to-date.  I am very lucky in that I have new Fee Earners in my team and I now have a team of eight and so I am hoping that there will be some capacity here in the office to make sure that I do get round to making my Will and updating my Powers of Attorney as I really have no excuse!  It is always a hard topic to broach with family members though, about their Wills and Powers of Attorney, without appearing to be greedy or nosey, but I think using the New Year resolution as an excuse should do the trick nicely!

Wishing you and your family and loved ones a happy, prosperous and peaceful 2019.
