On the 9th July 2022, the children of John Rankin school took part in a charity colour run. The colour run was a new and exciting event to the school, many of the children were eager to get involved!
The charity colour run was organised by the schools PTFA (Parents Teachers Friends Association) to help raise money for the school. After raising an astonishing 30k for the build of a new adventure playground at the junior school, the next focus was to raise funds for the schools’ libraries.
Along with the colour run, there were some other games and tombola’s for children and adults; refreshments including a bar, ice cream stall and a BBQ which was run by a local scout group. The event really brought the community together and to top it all off, the weather was fabulous!
