I am an experienced company commercial solicitor with experience both in private practice and in-house. I have developed good communication and organisational skills, am commercially pragmatic and use my knowledge and experience to help clients solve problems and achieve their goals. I like to have sufficient knowledge of a client’s business to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a client and the commercial challenges and opportunities facing a client so that relevant added-value advice can be given.
I act for clients operating locally, regionally, nationally and internationally and for new start-up businesses as well as established businesses.
I advise clients on many aspects of their businesses operating in a variety of sectors including engineering, retail, service, leisure, and owner-managed business sectors and am frequently involved in company formations and group reconstructions, company and business sales and purchases and company share option schemes as well as advising on commercial contracts, distribution and agency agreements and trademarks.
In my free time I enjoy following Exeter RFC, (my rugby playing and coaching days being over now), and Tottenham Hotspur FC, (for better or worse), also reading, cycling and backpacking holidays. I do undertake gardening but cannot say I particularly enjoy it!
