I am a secretary in our Corporate Commercial team, which specialises in company and commercial law. My role is to support the team in any way I can, from creating new files, typing invoices and filing documents at Companies House. My particular expertise (and greatest enjoyment) is in creating and formatting large contracts and agreements.
My first job was with the Civil Service, where I stayed for nearly 25 years providing secretarial and administrative support within various central government departments. Before joining Clarke & Son in 2016, I was a secretary and then business development coordinator for the accountancy firm RSM.
Outside of work my husband and I have a keen interest in social history. We are avid collectors of anything old and interesting, but mostly items reflecting life on Home Front and gramophones. We don’t like these things gathering dust at home so take them out and about for people to enjoy. We particularly enjoy sharing our love of gramophones and 78rpm shellac records, and have provided advice, displays and background music for various organisations, venues and events including the BBC, Eastleigh Borough Council, Bognor Regis Museum, and local vintage fayres.
